Robert Cemovich has been advising and consulting clients and governments across the former Soviet Union and Central and East Europe for more than 20 years. He is very familiar with the unique issues that arise from doing business in these geographic areas and has profound and long-standing ties in many of the countries from these regions, as well as a deep understanding of their legal systems and business practices.
Robert’s consultancies in these geographic areas initially have encompassed privatization and institutional restructuring, as part of the economic restructuring initiatives funded by the World Bank, United States Agency for International Development (USAID), and Millenium Challenge Corporation (MCC). However, his work has expanded to include private sector support for US business desiring to operate in these geographic areas, as funded by the United States Trade Development Agency (USTDA). He now provides transactional and commercial advice to clients looking to explore overseas markets as well as to those desiring to invest in the United States.
